Dear Dad…

Thank you for being the best dad in the whole world…
for setting up Barbie village with me each summer…
for helping me rock the science fair each year…
and for being my date to the father daughter dance even when my crazy curled bangs looked like this…

Thank you for being the Daisy Dad…
for never missing a recital, performance, or school talent show…
for cooking your famous chicken and rice whenever we craved it…
and for taping every basketball game I played in, even though all I cared about was my matching scrunchie.

Thank for setting an example for the type of man I should wait for…
for loving me unconditionally…
for protecting me…
and for making me laugh, chuckle, and giggle for the past 26 years.

Dad, I am thankful for you all day, every day, but especially today, on Father’s Day.
You have taught me so much, and I am so thankful for all the love and wisdom you’ve given to me.
Though we can’t be together today, I am wishing you a very happy Father’s Day across the miles!

I love you, Dad  You’re the best.
